Private Data Center and Disaster Recovery officeDesk Live Private Data Center is located at the premier hub for communications and bandwidth exchange in the southwestern United States. The Data Center’s power is provided via redundant connection to the city’s primary Central Business District’s five overlapping grids, backed up by an automatic generator and redundant uninterruptible power supplies. Access to the data center is limited to authorized personnel monitored by security guards, surveillance cameras, and biometric hand scans to ensure uncompromised security.
Backup
We backup data daily at our secure data center. On a weekly basis, your data is moved to our off-site location where it is securely stored for a week before being recycled. This allows us the ability to restore data that has been lost, accidentally or inadvertently erased, or overwritten at no additional charge.
Enterprise-Class Email & Groupware
Microsoft Exchange® & Email
officeDesk Live Exchange Servers deliver enterprise-class email and groupware to all Plus and Premium users. Exchange ® has been configured to take advantage of all groupware features including public folders, distribution lists, group scheduling, resource sharing, etc. E-mail is filtered for junk e-mail, spam, and infected attachments. Clients also have access to e-mail though the Microsoft web mail portal. Clients can have multiple domain names and individual users can have an unlimited number of email aliases all pointing to their mailbox.
Palms, Smart Phones, and other PDAs
officeDesk Live allows clients to synchronize PDAs with Outlook through our Exchange Servers. With a compatible mobile device, clients can view calendars, tasks, and e-mails in real time.
